With regard to the information being circulated by news outlets about the ban on Nursing degrees from Ahmadu Bello University,
“ABU DLC only accepts Registered Nurses into the Nursing Programme. As such, our Nursing students are unaffected by the issues between ABU & Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and their threats not to register or accredit the department.”
“This position notwithstanding, ABU has engaged the Council and discussions are ongoing, so the issue will be resolved soon. DLC BNSc students and prospective students should stay calm.”
