Programme Description

The ABU Distance Learning Center MLCJ designed to provide relevant and appropriate sociological and criminological training at the postgraduate level for the operators of law enforcement and administrators of justice. Also, it is to aid and encourage every law/security personnel to see his/her particular specialized role as only a part of the larger machinery responsible for the administration of Criminal Justice.

Candidates who are eligible for admission into the programme are expected to have:

  • All candidates must possess the basic university entry requirement of five credit passes including English and Mathematics at O’ Level.
  • A minimum of 2nd class Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University
  • Hold a 3rd class Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant working experience.
  • NYSC certificate (or exemption letter) especially for applicants under 30 years.
